>Introduction

GiriPru/PruGiri is the slash ship between the characters Greece and Prussia from the series Axis Powers: Hetalia. These two characters only have two instances of ever interacting, and both of those occur on Prussia's April Fool's blog (see here). It is a rarepair that has seldom content and a small presence within the Hetalia fandom.

This page is dedicated to solely them and their relationship. You can consider this as a sort of "shrine". I consider this as sort of an archive, for a lack of a better word. There are a lot of images in here sorry if your device slows down for a bit that's probably why... >Who are they?

Greece

Greece, human name Heracles Karpusi, is the personification of the country Greece. He is described to have a serious personality, but is mostly lax and carefree because of him lacking a strong constitution. He may seem aloof to others, but he constantly has philosophical thoughts which are sometimes brought out throughout the series. He loves history, philosophy, dancing, and cats.

Prussia

Prussia, human name Gilbert Beilschmidt, is the personification of the historic German state of Prussia/Eastern Germany. He is characterized as having a strong and self-centered personality, constantly trying to become stronger and calling himself "awesome" at any possible moment. However, this is more of an exaggerated character than anything, as his true nature is that of a hard-working soldier. He likes sleeping, eating, fighting, and cute things.

>Why ship them?

Personally, I was introduced to this ship during a random conversation with my boyfriend. Since Greece is my favorite character and Prussia one of his (at least I think he is...), and we both relate to these two to an extent, we decided to project our relationship on to them. So this ship is essentially running on hypotheticals.

I do find them being opposites to be endearing though: Greece's sedentary lifestyle and calm demeanor contrasting Prussia's abrasive and hyperactive personality. I like to think that Prussia tones himself down and is comfortable feeling vulnurable around Greece after playing up this dramatic personality for everyone else. And I think Greece would appreciate the spontaneity that Prussia brings into his life, with the latter giving Greece a reason to get up and enjoy the present moment.

Their contrast in colors is pretty interesting too. Greece wears lighter colors such as white a khaki, meanwhile Prussia gravitates towards darker colors like navy blue and black (with the exception of Teutonic Knights). Their eyes are also complements of each other, with Prussias eyes being red and Greece's being green.

I also really like the idea of them owning a pet store/shelter. This is just a random scenario I thought up since they both own pets and I think they would both really enjoy working in that atmosphere. Always being surrounded by cute animals would be within their interests I think...

I really enjoy their relationship and have been pairing them together since late December in 2025... They're so dear to me... So freaking cute... My dying wish is that people love GiriPru as much as I do...
